I prefer to purchase these books rather than reading them through the ATI website. So far I have found the content to be the same. If your school pays for your ATI and you don't mind looking at the computer screen for hours, you don't really need this book. But I like to have it in hand so I can bookmark and flag pages, and whittle my way through easier. Used versions of this would be fine, you definitely don't need a brand new copy.
Very helpful when studying Med Surge. The chapters sum up the massive amounts of information that we are taught in nursing school. I used this book to study (along with my class notes, of course) and saw my grade go from a D to a B!
I'm sure when I get the book, I will love it, but it's sure taking a long time to get here! This book is perfect for studying for a med-surg challenge exam - everything is in bullet points and will save countless hours of time reading a two volume Brunner and Suddarth set.
This book will save you through nursing school! We use the virtual ATI but it's so nice to have a paper back copy! Definitely recommended!
